ONE (with everything!): SAVING THE WORLD ONE TREAT AT A TIME

Insect protein is the future of animal feed but are you ready to go green with grubs? We think the answer is yes and the time is now! Get ready to learn how we are saving the planet with the power of larvae.

Who we are

Hailing from Melbourne, ONE is the brainchild of 3 ambitious scientists and 1 inquisitive engineer with a whole lot of love for dogs and the environment. We saw the problem – unsustainable agriculture and rising demands for protein – as easily as we saw the solution – insect protein. The only question was how...

Problem? Solution!

One of humanity’s current greatest challenges is the ongoing production of food for all members of the family - pets included! With an ever growing population of humans and dogs alike, we are reaching the Earth’s limit for production of conventional sources of protein. This production, whether plant or animal based, also comes at a heavy cost to our environment.

The ocean’s natural supply of fish has been steadily declining for the past 30 years and the world’s arable land is almost completely farmed with more forests cleared every year to plant food crops or raise livestock. It is estimated that food production accounts for 25% of all greenhouse gas emissions and despite their small size, some researchers calculate that our pets’ diets are responsible for as much as 1/3rd of our own food based environmental impact.

So how can we continue to produce more with less environmental impact? Insects!

Fed wholesome leftovers that would otherwise be thrown away, these efficient nutrient converters need no additional feed or water and take up considerably less space than their traditional agricultural counterparts. Don’t get us wrong: these insects aren’t eating garbage! No, they enjoy a balanced diet of farm leftovers, manufacturing by-products and excess retail stock. Human grade food which is perfectly edible but is unable to be sold, instead destined for a wasteful home in landfill. By doing so, these green guardians actually reduce our environmental impact, rather than increasing it.

Tasting is Believing

We know all too well that our proud pooches only care about 2 things when it comes to food: taste and smell. So we knew that we would need more than Earth-saving environmental benefits to make an outstanding treat. After much experimenting and taste testing from our dedicated and discerning office dog Ruby, we invented a unique recipe that produces a treat which is rich in nutty mushroom flavours and smells like a chocolate brownie. Combined with its satisfying crunchy texture, we have not met a dog that doesn’t love the taste of ONE!

Health is Wealth

The saying “anything that tastes this good can’t be good for you”, definitely does not apply to ONE. Packed to the brim with protein and rich in calcium, ONE is a guilt free treat that is actually good for our pets! Protein is a critical building block for all living creatures and is especially needed for active or young dogs. Calcium is a key building block for strong and healthy bones and teeth, to help our hounds play and chew for years to come.

Thanks to our unique production process, we have avoided the need for any preservatives or unhealthy chemical additives, making ONE ... one-hundred percent wholesome. With no cheap fillers like rice or grains, you can be confident that ONE is nothing but goodness.

Food for Thought

Insect protein is one of the lowest impact protein sources available, being virtually carbon neutral. Its sustainability credentials are matched by its nutritional quality and taste. So next time you want to want to reward your pup for all of their love and attention, try ONE. They will thank you, the Earth will thank you and so will our future generations as we help to make the world a greener place.
